Operating principle: Pulling the hand chain rotates the hand-chain wheel. The friction disc, ratchet and brake seat are pressed together and rotate as a unit. The five-tooth long shaft drives the intermediate gear, four-tooth short shaft and splined-bore gear. The load sprocket on that gear drives the load chain to lift the load smoothly.
