The B-class version is intended for petroleum, petrochemical processing, filling stations, oil depots, chemicals, defense, power, mining, electronics and railways. The original description excludes environments containing combustible gas or requiring higher explosion protection for this version. Its material design reduces mechanical sparking from friction or impact. The C-class version is described for potentially flammable or explosive environments, including gas-extraction applications. Confirm suitability and gas classification against the specific product certificate.
